5th Bebington Rainbows meets each Monday in term time between 5:30pm and 6:30pm in Grange United Reformed Church hall, Higher Bebington. We are a happy and active group for girls aged 5 – 7 years and have continued to thrive since opening in June 2006. Rainbows represents the youngest section of Girlguiding and we hope it is the start of their amazing Guiding adventure.

The Rainbows programme follows four themes – LOOK, LEARN, LAUGH and LOVE - and, with these in mind, we enjoy a wide range of crafts, games activities and singing. In addition, trips out are always fun – exploring Storeton Woods, learning about animals at Pets at Home, or a tractor ride at a local farm - and visitors such as a guide-dog puppy, the ‘owl man’ or a lady to teach us Scottish Dancing, always have the girls mesmerised and entertained.

We encourage the girls to think about one another, as well as people in the local community and around the world, and, as a unit we are involved in projects such as Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal, Children-in-Need, (Pudsey) and Comic Relief (Red Nose Day).

As well as our own activities, we also take part in local District and Division events with other local Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger units in the area such as our annual trip to the Pantomime, Fun-Days at the County campsite in Willaston and the Thinking Day celebrations each February.

5th Bebington Rainbows are a happy bunch, with lots of smiles and laughter  ……… a good time is had by all.
